Before your appointment

Your treatment results begin before you even arrive. Please review the preparation guidelines below to ensure the safest and most effective experience.

Facial Appointment Preparation

To ensure your skin responds beautifully to treatment:

48 Hours Before

Avoid using the following products:

• Retinoids / Retinol
• Exfoliating acids (AHA/BHA/PHA)
• Benzoyl Peroxide
• Physical exfoliants or scrubs
• Strong active treatments

These ingredients can increase sensitivity and may limit the treatments we can perform.

24 Hours Before

• Avoid sun exposure or tanning
• Avoid waxing or hair removal in the treatment area
• Avoid chemical peels or strong exfoliation

Day of Your Appointment

• Arrive with clean skin if possible
• Avoid wearing heavy makeup
• Bring a list of any skincare products you are currently using

If you are experiencing active irritation, sunburn, or illness, please contact us before your appointment.

Waxing Appointment Preparation

Proper preparation ensures the most comfortable wax and the best results.

Hair Length

Hair should be approximately ¼ inch long (about the length of a grain of rice).

If hair is too short, the wax may not properly adhere.

24 Hours Before

• Avoid retinol, exfoliating acids, or strong actives in the waxing area
• Avoid sun exposure or tanning
• Avoid exfoliating the treatment area

Day of Your Appointment

• Arrive with clean, dry skin
• Avoid lotions, oils, or body creams on the area being waxed
• Wear comfortable clothing

Important Skin Safety Guidelines

You may not be able to receive waxing or certain facial treatments if you are currently using:

• Accutane (within the last 6–12 months)
• Prescription retinoids (Tretinoin, Retin-A)
• Certain antibiotics or medications that cause skin sensitivity

Please inform your esthetician prior to your appointment.

Running Late / Cancellations

We kindly ask for 48 hours notice for appointment changes or cancellations.

Late arrivals may require shortening or rescheduling your service to respect other clients’ appointments.
